Brunswick Upper 2 catchment
This catchment contains the uppermost reaches of the Brunswick River, and is completely forested with the exception of Worsley Alumina which dams part of the Augustus River tributary.
Because the land uses in the area have very low nutrient intensity (i.e. no fertilisation, imported feed or animal waste) water quality in the upper Brunswick River is very good, with some of the lowest concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorus and suspended sediments measured in the whole Leschenault catchment.
