In June 2020 Healthy Estuaries WA was launched to continue to build on the work of the Regional Estuaries Initiative. The below information contains information relevant to the Regional Estuaries Initiative and will be reviewed as the program transitions to Healthy Estuaries WA. The Regional Estuaries Initiative partners with local catchment groups, local government and community organisations to fund on-ground projects. These projects span across five strategies and focus on removing nutrients that have already entered waterways, preventing nutrients from entering waterways at their source, and gaining a better understanding of how to manage our estuaries through scientific monitoring and modelling.

You can search all of the projects by strategy and location below.
